I remember as a kid in the 2000s, I heard in documentaries that red was one of the colors dogs could see like humans. So, rule of thumb was to buy stuff in red.
I've since learned that dogs can't process red. Dogs are dichromatic, effectively red-green colorblind. They can see yellow and blue, but not colors like red or purple.
Do you buy according to how dogs see the world? Does it make any difference or is it purely for you?
