Which dog should we get as a family?

Hey guys, we are considering getting a family dog. Currently, it’s just my wife, my 2 year old, and myself. Don’t want anything too big, maybe a dog that isn’t high maintenance and not a whoa lot of hair shedding. Other than that I appreciate any and all recommendations 🙏
