I have a 15-16 week old mix breed puppy who was my foster. He was dumped around 6-7 weeks, emaciated and with his siblings. We all know that is too early.
I was looking at an exercise guideline chart and noticed that for free play, there’s a caveat: can be free playing as long as the puppy isn’t harassing adults.
This was interesting to me because I frequently separate my dogs when the puppy starts harassing my four-year-old pit mix. I allow dog to dog corrections and the puppy is crate trained.
When does the puppy harassment stop? It is something we are constantly intervening for. OMG he’s a numbskull.
