We just got a cocker spaniel who is 6 months old and was not crate trained. Last owners had chucks and let him pee and poop in the house, just cleaned up after him.
I realized I am stuck starting good habits here
How do you all suggest I crate train him ah this age?
I have two little ones and my husband and I alternate work schedules (12 hours each, day and night shift)z
1) Keep him in the crate and wake up every 3 hours to let him out to pee? 2) every day, work into keeping him longer in the crates? 3) keep him in a crate and let him sleep our room? (Our kids sneak into our room at night still)
