I have a wee 7month cavapoo and hes quite crate trained, the only problem is he gets quite warm at night in his crate and requires the fan.
As the fan eats up quite alot of electric, i thought it would be a good idea to try him outside thr crate at night, with the crate door open, and other bed that he likes to lie on. However, when night rolls around and its time to sleep, he judt cant reqlly settle outside of the crate. I think hes just too curious to sleep and just walks about the bedroom and tries to get up into our bed.
Anyone have any advice? Hes good at settling outside of the crate in the living room, but he loves to walk about at night in the bedroom. Maybe because its new hes just not used to it?
