hi guys! i have a 17 week old toy cavoodle and love him to bits! he loves the idea of a walk and gets sooooo excited to see his leash and harness but the second we get part ways down the street he freaks out and cries and wants to be held! i know hes still young, and hes very little as well only about 4 pounds. if the wind blows a certain way he sits down and refuses to move on or if a dog barks he cries and wants up! hes not very good motivated so its not like i can distract him with a small treat! anyway, im just curious… do you guys think it’s because he is small and the world is all new and big to him? is there any tips on how to make him a bit more confident or to help him feel more comfortable walking?
