My puppy just turned 12 weeks old. She is doing so good but a few days ago she decided after her night time potty breaks she does not want to go back to sleep. She wakes me up when she needs to go and we have the typical boring night time potty break. She’s barking and whining but her needs are met and I can tell she just wants out.
I just let her whine and settle herself but this can take a long time sometimes 30min to an hour. There’s other people in my home who do not want to be woken up at 1am by a barking dog…
Has anyone else gone through this? If so, how long did it last?
