Hi all, my 8.5 week puppy is home and we are nearing the end of our first week with him home. So far he's down really well. He hasn't shown signs of wanting to hurt the cats or a high prey drive, I just want to make sure that chasing the cats is absolutely off the table. So far if he chases the cat it is marked with a stern "no" and he loses all off tether privileges in our home for 10-15 minutes and has to be in his bed (place command) not having fun. It's usually only when he's really over tired and overstimulated. (Alligator air chomps). We also give him praise for making a good choice by walking past and leaving them alone. Is there anything I should do differently?
