My 5.5 month mini schnauzer mix had his first flight today- it was a long one… 5.5 hours. I got anti nausea meds and a calming med from the vet. I tested them both before hand, seemed ok. Got on the flight and he was panting, barking, whining the whole time. I was able to have him on my lap for a little and he was totally calm then. I also took him to the dog park for an hour to get him tired so he’d be more likely to sleep on the flight.
I’m mostly wanting to make sure he’s ok. Our flight back is at 8 am so will be a little different timing wise.
