Hi!
We have a 6 month old chuweenie puppy who is usually a kissy sweetheart with exception to how he treats our bigger dog, Lazlo.
He is around other dogs that are not big and doesn't attack them outside of just playful behavior. Lazlo is the exception – puppy is very resource guard-y and literally attacks him, sometimes without any apparent resources.
It is really annoying because Lazlo is a boxer so he is big, but he is usually not doing anything wrong and just being alive when he is attacked by the small one.
I am struggling with how to train my small dog to stop attacking the big one, especially since I'm afraid what may happen if the big one loses patience. We try to just keep them separated but it makes it hard since they have to then share time outside of a crate.
Is there any way to train this behavior out of the small dog?
