Crate regression/confinement anxiety?

Our 18wk old puppy is hugely regressing with her crate which has always been in our bedroom. We had to change it a few weeks ago as she ripped the zipper on her material crate so now use a metal one, after a hard few nights with it we eventually realised she was cold and added a big fluffy bed, she slept perfectly day and night for about 2 weeks. Shes been left in it a few times for about 1-2 hrs, sometimes if she’s super tired she’s knocked out, sometimes barks for about 40 mins then sleeps. The last few nights she is not settling at all day or night. She barks and barks and barks and barks and barks. We’ve tried taking her potty multiple times and back to crate, she often doesn’t need to potty and has never had an accident in her crate. It’s disheartening as we know she can and has been very settled in her crate and now we feel like we have no idea what to do, she will only stop barking if she’s let in our bed which we don’t want to encourage but have obviously caved in and now she barks until she gets that. I don’t want to make the crate aversion worse by letting her bark it out (also neighbours) but honestly I have no idea what to do, she won’t settle anywhere apart from the sofa or the bed. We are trying to go back to basics with treats in the crate which she will go in for but even if the crate is right by my feet she won’t settle and also does not tolerate being confined in a playpen. If we try to let her out of the crate at night she would just jump on the bed. It feels like there is no way to overcome this without the challenge of where to sleep at night? I know she’s teething and probably going through a fear period as well which isn’t helping but we just cannot see a way in which this resolves unless we leave her to bark all night or put her in our bed.
