Want to start by giving my sincere apologies to those that have lost their puppies, I saw a few posts and then felt silly about complaining about my pup. But hopeful I can get some help. I have a GSD mix from a rescue. Were told she’s good with kids and cats and is good with neither. The only real problem I have though is that she is nipping/ biting everything in sight 24/7. When we first got her she was very chill, and now three weeks it’s like she has an unquenchable desire to bite or teeth on something. The vet said she is about 5 months and doesn’t have much baby teeth left. She doesn’t bite when she’s mad, but she’s jumping and nipping the kids and me all day long and it kinda hurts! We take her on long walks, I’ll literally run with her. She goes outside a lot. We play with her all the time with squeaky toys she likes and balls. Nothing will stop her from running dull speed me jumping on us while on the couch and nipping at us. My hair, legs, body, arms, sweater, ankles, feet. And she’s very strong. Today I felt bad bc we had her in the crate for about two and a half hours which is longer than she spends during the day in there and she came running out like a complete maniac. I kinda don’t enjoy her. We went for a walk and were playing with an old soccer ball with her, when the kids went on the trampoline. She jumped up and bit me so hard in the stomach, is this normal? I don’t mind the jumping up on tables and eating paper and correcti t those behaviors but the nipping or biting I dont know which is really a drag. We have those puppy puzzles and she’s very good at commands but when she’s full force none that matters. Any advice?
