Hi! Our 4-month-old puppy is extremely difficult to handle — she bites almost constantly. There is a slight improvement compared to one month ago, in the sense that she sometimes bites a bit more gently, but not consistently, and she doesn’t react at all when we say “ouch.” Most of the time she doesn’t want to be petted (she either runs away or tries to chew on our hands). She constantly tests boundaries: she’s not allowed on the sofa, yet she repeatedly tries to climb on it; the second we’re not paying attention, she chews on the furniture or jumps on the bed.
It’s really hard to feel affection for a pet that shows no interest in being touched or cuddled.
Is there hope that she will become more affectionate at a certain point?
