Over socializing a very confident BC puppy?

I have a very confident 9 week old border collie which I’m reading is a good thing. He has no fear and seems to egg on rough play with dogs bigger than him. I’ve been introducing him to friend’s young and adult dogs every few days, do you think this is too much socialization with other dogs? He has been corrected a few times by different dogs which I encourage because I do feel that he does get quite rough.. he backs off after he has been corrected and then will go right back in there.
