Too late to train not to beg/jump at dining table?

I realized recently I may have made a mistake with my six month old pup. I don’t usually eat at my dining table, but I do sit at it to work. When I was really focused on “capturing calmness” he’d curl up by my feet and I’d give him treats—effectively feeding him from the table 🤦🏼‍♀️ He’s also recently gotten big enough to put his front paws up on the table (jumping in general is something we’re working on).

I occasionally do sit at the table to eat but when friends are over we eat there as well. Anyone have tips for reconditioning?
