When does peeing from excitement stop?

Almost 16 week old puppy and recently he’s been peeing from excitement, particularly when seeing people

I try to come home calm and not give him attention but even sniffing me will sometimes make him pee

He has no other potty accidents at this point and knows how to ask for the bathroom when he needs to go. But when he’s excited it’s like he doesn’t even realize he’s going!

I just want to know if it’s just age and will eventually stop or if there’s anything more I could be doing!!
