How to get my dog to stop peeing inside the house

My dog has had terrible separation anxiety he’s he was a puppy- would literally cry all night unless me or my wife spent time with him and he would pee often which we took as him just learning to potty. As he got older (he’s 4 now) it got better. As of the last couple months he’s been peeing inside the house regularly and we don’t know why. We tried several things but nothing seems to work. For context we l moved into to a house over a year ago and both my dogs (I also have a girl dog we got a year after we got him) have a doggy door with complete access to going outside as they please. We noticed the issue started soon after I went to work out of town and would only come back on weekends. I was gone for 4 months and the dogs would stay home alone for the most part while my wife was at work. She started coming home to piss everywhere so we got family members to come check on my pets here and there to see if it would help him not pee inside. The thing is that now I’m back home and have been for over a month now and he’s still peeing inside. It’s to the point now where even if we leave for a bit he’ll pee inside the house somewhere. We have never caught him in the act but based on the areas that have been targeted I know it’s my boy dog plus he has a history of doing so. Any tips on how I can get him to stop peeing inside? We were thinking of leaving him im the backyard all day on days we had someone home and then bringing him in at night so he can get used to being alone and also scheduling pee times throughout the day. Any hep would be appreciated. Thank you.
