We’ll be boarding our dog (retriever breed) for 11 days soon, and while she has been boarded before (up to 8 days) she doesn’t love it. She is a very intelligent and sensitive breed so I’m sure she’s board and stressed from not having as much human contact as she’s used to.
The place we take her has indoor/ outdoor run that the dog can come and go as they please during the day (they close the doggie door at bedtime) and add ons such as living room cuddles in the evening, nature walks, stuffed kongs, etc. which we do add some of this one while we’re gone to help a bit with boredom and enrichment.
What toys/ chews would you send with your pup that you feel are relatively safe for them to have while not under constant supervision? Please only recommend ones that you have direct experience with. Thank you!
