Feeling scared of missing puppy’s first heat

Hello, I’m posting in case anyone has any advice or reassurance — I’ve read a lot on signs of going into heat and know what to look for, but I also keep reading about silent heats and feeling worried I’ll miss my puppy’s first heat. She’s eight months old at the moment and I’m keeping her back from daycare just in case, though it would be really useful to send her occasionally as she’s just got so much energy. She’s meant to be spayed a couple of months after she goes into heat so if I do miss it I’m not sure what that will mean for spaying. Has anyone been in a similar position or have advice? I feel like I’m expending a lot of energy right now worrying about it — it could be a day or six months til she goes into heat and I don’t love the idea of just worrying like this indefinitely!
