Adopting my first apartment dog what should I know?

Hey everyone,

I just applied to adopt a rescue pup after a few years without a dog. My last one passed away, and I’ve really missed having that companionship. This will be my first time raising a dog in an apartment instead of a house, so I’m a little nervous about how the adjustment will go especially with space, noise, and daily routines.

For anyone who’s done this before, what should I expect? Any tips for small-space living, building routines, or keeping a dog comfortable in an apartment?
