My pup is screaming when I’m out of his sight

I have a 9 week old Samoyed and he’s learning things fast. He goes in his crate voluntarily and sleeps in it just fine, as long as I’m near. But when I’m not here.. oh boy.

I closed his door to go take a shower (after he got in by himself) and the barking/howling kept happening. I went back to see that he pooped on his bed.

I was gone for 5 minutes. Any tips about improving his behaviour?
