Hello – wondering if anyone has any experience / advice on ‘being alone’ regression? Our sprocker Quinn (11 months) has generally been brilliant about being left in his crate for up to a couple of hours in the day (not often, we WFH), overnight, and occasionally a little earlier in the evening if we have to go out before his bedtime. In the last week he’s started howling when being left alone, even for 30 mins (he doesn’t do it if we don’t leave the house). He still sleeps well there overnight if we put him down at 8pm!
Any tips on getting through this – is it a fear period? I was just starting to leave him alone in a room instead of a crate when this started so I don’t know if this change threw him a bit (he now howls when left in crate or in the room)
Thank you in advance 🙂
