This happened about an hour ago. I picked up the dog as usual (shih tzu mix) and he started like whining. He’s NEVER done this before. He was wearing a jacket and I immediately took it off cause I thought maybe it pulled his hair. But he still seems off. He’s usually very energetic and bubbly but he just seems so down. He did jump off the bed when he heard someone get home, he usually does this. And he’s kinda like curving his back when standing? For now he’s resting but I’m very concerned. Should I take him to the emergency vet?
I do plan on checking how he’s doing in the morning and WILL be taking him to the vet if he still seems off. Just trying to figure out what could be wrong. I’m scared to touch him.
