Hey guys, I have a question about crate training. My puppy is 9 weeks old now (got him at 8 weeks) and takes all his naps on my lap. At night he does sleep in a “basket” (idk the English for it) mostly without problems.
During the day, though, he has to be on me for naps. I’ve been trying to crate train him, but if he’s in the crate with the doors closed and he can see me, he yells non-stop. Putting a blanket over it doesn’t seem to help much.
If I let him fall asleep on me and then put him in the crate, he immediately wakes up and climbs back into my hands.
Any tips on how to get him to sleep in the crate? Thanks!
