I feel a bit of relief knowing I don’t need to monitor her the entire day. But I also feel guilt. Next week, she’ll go to puppy daycare with other pups of similar vax status. I wasn’t able to get her in this week, so she has a sitter coming at 10:30 and then I’ll stop by at 1:00 and head back to work after. My boss is being really flexible with me this week until she can go to daycare, and he let me work remotely all of last week.
I feel a bit bad since she’ll only have 2 hours of play between 8am and 4pm. I guess she technically does need 18-20 hours of sleep at her age (11 weeks). And she is so good at holding her potty. But still. I feel bad.
She’s starting to feel like my baby. My responsibility. And I wish I had a remote job to be with her (I’m hybrid with 3 days a week in office). Any support or advice from puppy parents who had to go into the office is appreciated.
