Hi all! I have a 9 month old mix puppy named TiTi. She has been a JOY, ugh I love her so much. She has a solid recall, she knows sit, down, stay, leave it and wait. I even trained her to follow the command "walk" for when she stops on our walks. We go on walks, run around in fields and sometimes even go to the lake. She is soo energetic and I try to fulfill her with lots of outings, play and enrichment toys. But no matter what, she does not settle!! She ran around in a field for 2 hours and came back home to run some more! At night, she scratches at my door and whines, wanting to run around even more! I see people say if you want a calm dog, then fulfill them. But I do and it doesn't work! I know I have to train it, but I have tried. It is the one thing she will NOT get besides crate training! I just need advice on what to do. She is a chihuahua mix, so I didn't expect this much energy. Have I not been fulfilling her properly?
