My 3 year old Corgipoo has been going back in his crate for the last few months. We moved house and it bothered him and while his crate was never his safe space as a pup he was happy enough and he's happy in his crate when we go out.
But he's got a really weird habit, he seems almost offended by his water bowl in there, I've watched him on camera and he will cover the bowl up with his bedding, he gets pretty worked up about it and does everything he can to cover it up.
It's a small bowl, attached to the bars in the corner of his crate and it makes zero sense why he seems to hate it so much
