We have an older dog that I adored from day one, so I feel really guilty to even be writing this, but I really don't like my new puppy. He's just a total jerk. Every time I think we're winning on his training, he'll do something like snatch food right out of your hand or pee on the floor (after he'd spent the last week peeing outside). It's really exasperating. He's been a member of our household for 3 months now, and I fully expected to love him dearly by this point, but I just don't. I always heard that puppies are hard, but I guess because our first dog was so darn easy that I had rose tinted glasses on the idea of a second. I don't want to rehome him, I just want to vent to people who might get it.
