Me and my wife got a new puppy a couple of months ago and things are going great! He’s sweet and affectionate and very clingy. The reason I’m posting is actually about his sister who is still at the shelter. When we went to meet them as puppies we instantly fell in love with both dogs and I don’t know if I’ve seen my dog as happy as when he was out playing with her. I know it’s still probably too soon for a variety of reasons and there’s a decent chance she gets adopted relatively soon regardless, but at what point would it be safe to adopt her without it causing litter mate syndrome? For context it’s been about 2 months since we took our dog home and they’re ~5.5 months old now.
