Any advice for the 18h sleep thing?

Hi!

Yesterday we got our first puppy of 8 weeks (her name is triple) but i'm a bit confused with her sleep needs. I know it's the second day, and everything is new so i understand that rome wasnt build in 1 day but except for the eating times i don't have a routine to work with because i don't know if it's okay to put a puppy in a maybe energetic state in a crate to sleep?

I mean is it okay to put my puppy, by some hour, in the crate because she really needs her sleep? And what if she is too energetic? It's just i don't know how to get to the 18h sleep without putting her eventuelly energetic in the crate because she is always active i think mostly because she is tired but dont know it? but i don't want her to look it as a punishment. Any advice on handling this? What did/do you guys do for reaching the 18h sleep?

For a bit of info:

She is already very well trained, knows where to pee, and already sleeps very good in the crate for the time she is already here. Sometimes she search the crate by herself but only for shortly biting in her basket. The first night was also very good, she cried for maybe 10 min and after that she was silent. For a first night i have expected a lot worse

The schedule of when she eats is at 7am, 12:30pm, 15:30 pm and 18-18:30pm

She has a crate with a basket where she was trained with the last period she was with the breeder so she knows that basket, including a peace of cotton where the scent of the mother lies with. She has toys like a kong (more follow) and other chew toys. We are planning to buy a puppy playpen because i read that giving her a bit more personal space she would be less overstimulated than having a somewhat large living room

I know it's the second day and i don't want to panic too hard don't get me wrong it takes time but im not good in finding a good structure without knowing if it's the right thing i do?
