Dachshund potty training

Hi everyone. Needing some tips and advice on what to do for my dachshund puppy. She is about 7 months old and we are having a very hard time potty training her. For example, my husband lets her out at 4am-5am when he gets up for work. She gets let out around 7-8, and then every 2/3 hours after. Her last potty of the day is around 11pm. She’s only crated at night, during nap time for my kids for about an hour, or if we go somewhere. She usually doesn’t go overnight but during the day she still pees and poops in the house and the crate. I let her out to potty today as my husband got home and 20 minutes later she ran inside of her crate and pooped in it. She doesn’t just pee and poop then run, she will literally just sit in it. She’s pooped on my new couch, my bed. I have a 4 year old pit and he trained within 2 weeks. I’m lost on what to do, I need advice from experienced trainers/dachshund owners.
