Puppy was fine in kennel and now throws a fit

i’m so frustrated right now. we got two puppies (whole long situation, i can go into it if anyone wants more context). We were told they were 8 weeks when we brought them home… pretty sure that was incorrect. we are very aware of littermate syndrome and making a huge effort to prevent this. With that being said, we have a playpen for each puppy and a kennel for each puppy. both of them were doing great for the most part, they’d cry for 5 minutes or less and then settle and play on their own, sleep, whatever. now, they are OBSESSED with me and absolutely will not stop crying when I put them in their kennel or playpen. I make an effort to have individual time with each of them so it feels like a constant chorus of crying these past couple days. i’m about at my wits end with it. they’re also struggling severely with potty training and it’s driving me absolutely insane. i’ll take them outside for an hour, they don’t do anything (or they will!) and then they’ll come inside and immediately go on the floor again. i’m genuinely at my wits end. it’s been about a little less than 6 years since i’ve had a puppy and i do not remember it being this difficult. send help
