Gunner kennel in Honda Civic?

I need a large gunner kennel for my GSD mix, does anyone have any experience in getting one into a Honda Civic? If it helps it’s a 2016 LX 4D. It looks like I’d have to take the door off to squeeze it in there but I haven’t bought it yet so I don’t know what to expect. Thank you!!!
