My 5 month old puppy is teething right now and last week she lost quite a few big ones. She is crying, whining and whimpering a lot and it’s really sad because even if I offer her frozen treats (kongs, carrots, frozen fruit pieces, frozen wash cloth… I’ve tried it all) she still seems uncomfortable and will just cry. For instance, she grabbed her favorite stuffed animal and was just wandering around with it just whimpering. Is this normal? (FWIW: It’s nothing health related- she saw the vet last week.) I am considering reaching out to my vet to see if there is any puppy safe pain medication i can give her. I appreciate any encouragement or tips on things that can help my baby girl!
