Adopted a pitbull puppy a month ago who is around 4 months old now. He is obsessed with eating rocks on the ground and poops them out so far: I know how dangerous this can be. We have resorted to only having him outside on the leash but I am concerned this is going to be lifetime of this. We have a fenced in yard and a toddler at home so I really want to be able to just let him out when he needs to go to the bathroom. Working on leave it and drop it. But the second he runs out there off leash, he immediately runs to the rocks. Is this something he will grow out of?
