I am looking at breeds to buy a puppy, right now we are looking at poodle, German shepherd. We had ruled out the German Shepherd because he needed a lot of exercise, but we spoke to the 30-year-old breeder and she told me that as an adult with 30-40 minutes twice a day she saw no problem (obviously the minimum).
We are a 44-year-old couple with two cats. We work in shifts, I also work at night, we don't usually coincide and if it happens it's two days that would be 8 hours. We like to go walking and hiking. We live in a place with a warm and temperate climate (months with 5 degrees and summer with an average of 25). It rains a lot even in the driest month.
I don't like the dog to go with everyone, the goldens. I prefer little hair care but it's clearly not a priority. I like medium-large breeds.
