dog bollts through gate when opened

my 1year old bichon is great untill a gate is opened ..bolts through mine or guest legs.. head rite to street doing figure 8s,,scary,, will not return till wore out im in stree stopping traffic.. she is mindfull but for this its a game to her ugg'''.is it possible to have a detorrent collar only at the 3 gates/ this may save her from tragedy,, worried
