Hi all, I adopted my sweet pup from Korea a bit over a month ago, she’s nearing 10 months-ish and she is such a great pup except for her leash pulling. The moment we got her we’ve been loose leash training her but it is not improving at all. We’ve been doing the regular stuff like stopping completely and not proceeding until she makes eye contact, turning her around and going back and forth so she is engaged with us, praise and treats when she’s walking well beside us; but the moment she gets a treat she runs forward. I truly think she just doesn’t understand this training at all 😅 I know consistent training takes time but I’ve been doing this everyday for a month and feel like I’m getting nowhere! Am I just being too impatient? Any tips or words of wisdom?!
