Hello! I take care of dogs, and have a sling carrier I use for small dogs on walks (when they reach their limit, or can't go on walks). I occasionally take care of a very fat pug that now has arthritis issues, so she has now been limited to short walks. I often walk her with whatever other dog is here, and they need full length walks. To solve this issue, I'd like to transfer her to a carrier mid-way, but I'm having a hard time finding an adequate carrier. She weighs too much for the sling carrier, and front-facing backpacks with that weight put a big strain on my lower back. She is short-bodied, and that's the quibble. A lot of backpacks for her weight class would be too long for her (her head would not be above). Does anyone have any carrier suggestions for walks? And that is not $150+?
