I think my dog is getting too ball crazy. All day long all he thinks about is his ball. He wants to play ball, and if he can’t do that, he wants to sleep with it next to him. Should I be worried?

My last dog would have nothing to do with a ball, so I made sure to teach this little guy how to play. I think it's gotten out of hand. For context, he is 4.5 years old, and he is a dachsund, chihuahua, terrier mix.
