Let me start by saying that we are working with our vet. Dog has been screened multiple times for UTI and treated. She is currently taking estrogen to combat incontinence.
My poor 13 yr old mixed breed dog is deaf, losing some teeth and incontinent. When she had the UTI she started dribbling in the house. She’s absolutely destroyed my bedroom carpet. Now it doesn’t seem like accidental dribble, she squats. She can’t hear except for really loud noises. Our back door is always open. The dogs go in and out all day.
How can I break this habit and retrain her?
