I’ll be upfront and say that we’ve been experimenting with different potty method and hence why it may be taking a while so its mainly our fault and we need help as its becoming a big toll on my gf and I.
Our puppy is a lab mix coming up on 6 months. She has been semi trained on pee pad previously but even then she would have accidents. 3 weeks ago, we introduced grass patch on out balcony as an alternative as we simply aren’t able to take her out every hour. She adjust to it pretty quickly but she’s still having multiple accidents indoors right now. We are actively rewarding her for using the grass patch and outdoor.
Not sure if she potentially has any health issue but it was ruled out a month ago at check up but she would randomly pee in small quantities. Its almost like she’s purposely not holding it and letting it go as she please. We also had to remove any soft things like a blanket from her crate as we found her peeing in it overnight too.
Can you please share some tips in regard to a stubborn puppy for potty training in a high rise apartment?
Crate training is something we’re working on too. She’s fine when we leave the house completely or overnight but she would cry ongoing when we try to lock her up when we’re home.
