When will we get our free time back?

We have a 6 month old lab mix rescue, who we’ve had for a month and a half. He’s on a 2 hour awake, 2 hour asleep schedule that has just started to flex a bit with longer wake windows if he’s not nutso. My husband and I are so lucky to both work from home full time so we can keep him on that schedule throughout the day without having to crate him for long periods of time. BUT during his awake windows he still really needs constant hawk eyed supervision, especially during the 4-6pm witching hour when both are girls just get home from school and daycare and 8-10pm when the girls are in bed and we would normally have time to breathe. But now our night doesn’t really start until 10pm. 😭 Can anyone reassure me this too shall pass? He’s the sweetest but still gets into everything. 🤣
