Is this normal when potty training? Any advice?

I’ve been trying to potty train my pup since 5 months old. He will be 7 months old on the 13th of May. He usually never poops or pees in my room, but he still does it in other parts of the house. This is even when I take him outside and he both poops and pees, sometimes he’ll immediately do it again when I let him loose in the house. Is this normal? Any advice?
