I’m not sure if I’ve used the right tag but I’m wondering what’s the signs of a good ethical breeder, more specifically for cavalier King Charles spaniel, and what information should be provided and relevant questions to ask them.
I’ve been looking into dog breeds and I’ve decided cavalier King Charles spaniel would best suit my lifestyle and I’m aiming to get one around September this year.
Due to their common health issues I will only go through an ethical breeder that does health testing, I’ve found a few places that look ok and are in a few hours of me, I’ve sent inquires into if it looks they may have a litter available around September and pricing.
(I intend posting in a group specifically for the breed at some point I just don’t have enough reddit karma as I don’t usually post on reddit)
