Tips for scheduling training while working full time.

Hi all, I will provide background about myself, living at home with parents and brother. We are both in our mid 20s and going to see a new pup tomorrow with an expection to buy it all goes well.

We had 2 small dogs when younger and unfortunately 1 of the 2 recently passed. The other is a 12 year old long haired Chihuahua who behaves reasonably well with most dogs.

The pup we are seeing tomorrow is a rottweiler X border collie and this will be our first medium/larger dog.

My brother and I will be looking after training and it's needs 90% of the time. We both work full time (hybrid), however for the next 2 weeks I have to attend the office everyday so I am wondering how to structure day to day training and getting the pup used to its new environment given that there will be 1 or 2 days during the week that the pup may need to be left alone for 6-7 hours.

Is it enough to spend 30-60min before work and another chunk of time after work dedicated to training commands etc or should there be another approach? Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks
