Does it get better?
My husband and I have been talking about getting a sister for our 6 year old for a while, as we feel like it’s a great age to have a sibling.
We went to Petsmart on the off chance that they are doing an adoption event with a local shelter and they were. We found a beautiful lab/pittie mix that is 9 weeks old and decided to take her home.
When we adopted our first girl, she was about a year old, and I felt like it wasn’t ANYTHING like our current puppy. Constant biting/nibbling, dealing with crate training again, and the constant worry that I’m not doing enough for her.
I know she is a literal baby, so I don’t hold anything against her, but please tell me it gets easier, and that I DO love her enough.
Appreciate you all. This thread made me realize I want the only one having blues/regrets.
