Hi all,
Quick one. My 10 month old cairn terrier has started to run away from me when I try put his harness on. Soon as I pick it up he runs to go under the table or in general just be chased around. Once it's on he's fine, same harness as before.
He's doing similar with the car. He will try run away from me(while on lead) when he knows he's going into the car, I have to pick him up as hes too short to jump in. He's fine once he's in the car. He never used to do that either. I'm a bit lost with what's the cause. If the harness is on the floor he will go and play with it.
A note: he's a fairly fearless dog. There is very little he is afraid of if anything. I have noticed he has regressed in some behaviours in the last month or so.
