hi all! i’m bringing my puppy Mika home in 3 or so weeks, and i’d love any general advice! i’m planning on keeping her in my lap with a bed for the ride, as it’s only an hour drive. i understand this is risky, but i’ve talked to my boyfriend about driving very slow/alert and to try to take backroads as much as possible. i’ve read to bring paper towels/wipes in case of any accidents and to take a potty stop.
once again, any other suggestions for the car ride/getting adjusted to a new home would be greatly appreciated!
