How to clip nails on a dog who wont stop moving?

ill admit it , i havent been a good owner when it came to cutting my dogs nails so theyre long, but i want to change that now. Hes a jack russell terrier and has white claws so I dont have any trouble seeing the quick but I just cant for the life of me get him to stay still while i try (and fail to cut his nails) . Ive tried getting him comfortable with clippers which actually did work. Everytime i pick up the clippers he gets sort of excited/interested in them and isnt scared of it.

however, When i grab hold of his paw, he will sometimes do light tugs away or gnaw at my hand lightly until i let go. i can struggle and get the tips for the front four claws albeit extremely slowly , but for the dew claw( i think thats what its called) , he wont hold still long enough for me to chip away at it. This is probably a training diff on my end, so i was wondering how can i get my dog to relax and chillout when it comes to nail cutting like i be seeing on some dog spa days on tiktok?
